Synopsis

The year is 1990. Patrick Melrose, at thirty-one, has achieved a fragile stability: he is sober and working as a lawyer. He largely avoids the distractions of social life and its inherent pitfalls, yet his close friend Johnny manages to convince him to attend a gathering in the Cotswolds, a world of privilege and potential undoing.
