Synopsis

In 2007, Panorama explored Blackburn, a town increasingly marked by ethnic and religious divisions. The program has since returned, revealing a community now even more fractured. Certain areas of Blackburn are now predominantly Muslim and Asian, while others are almost exclusively inhabited by white residents. This pattern of social segregation has been labeled a national crisis, despite decades of government initiatives intended to foster unity. Yet, these divisions endure. Panorama journeys to
