Synopsis

Paul Kenyon journeys three thousand miles along one of the most perilous routes of illegal immigration from Africa. The Sahara and the sea claim many lives in the pursuit of a better existence in Europe, but can those who survive dissuade others from undertaking the same dangerous passage, now that Europe itself is in economic decline?
