Synopsis

Saïd ostracized Mershah for abandoning him in his final moments, and commanded all Muslims to do likewise. Impressed by Saïd’s authority, Groves made a fatal decision in his name. Meanwhile, Beecher, reshaped by his time in prison, finally exacted his revenge upon Schillinger.
