Synopsis

A shadow of concern settled over Fergus as he considered the well-being of his newborn son, troubled by the narrow-mindedness of some Protestant neighbors who clung to old superstitions. Meanwhile, in a different sphere, Claire meticulously performed surgery on Tom’s injured hand.
