Synopsis

He entered the dimly lit bar in Forthaven, a heavy satchel containing diamonds slung across his shoulder. He spoke of figures lurking beyond the compound walls, and of a life lived near Carpathia's ocean – a place that seemed, to most, a contradiction given its reputation as a radiation-scarred wasteland. A brawl erupted nearby, and the commotion drew the attention of Cass and Fleur, who, after the dust settled, found themselves compelled to follow the enigmatic man.
