Synopsis

Following his mother’s decision to relocate to Matsumoto, Kakeru accompanies her. Her passing occurs on the very first day of school after his transfer, and consumed by guilt, Kakeru rejects Suwa's invitation to join the soccer club. He encounters familiar faces from Tokyo, yet finds no one capable of comprehending his grief. Overwhelmed by despair, Kakeru feels utterly trapped, with no apparent escape from his sorrow.
