As someone who reads the manga, I tend to dismiss harshly critical reviews from those disappointed by changes in the adaptation. Their viewpoints aren't really relevant. The show isn’t perfect, but most of the alterations—even the biggest ones—are actually better than what was originally presented. Some adjustments were simply necessary because the source material can be quite silly and juvenile at times. This is a truly impressive achievement; it’s clear an enormous amount of care and consideration went into its creation, particularly when you consider Toei Animation's version, which inexplicably padded each episode with what amounted to twenty minutes of filler for every five minutes of actual content. Those who dislike the Netflix adaptation seem to prefer that disaster—and you can draw your own conclusions about that. It’s very enjoyable so far; don’t listen to people trying to convince everyone it deserves a rating of 1 out of 10.
