Synopsis

The Shogun Orochi began to speak of a long-dead rival, a subject that quickly lulled the assembled guests into a state of weary boredom. Then, Toko, the Oiran’s young attendant, erupted in unrestrained laughter, a sound that seemed impossible to quell. Orochi, his face darkening with fury, lunged at her, but an unforeseen figure intervened.
