Nami forged an alliance, securing her position as the crew's navigator, though she remained a provisional member. Their journey led them to Syrup Village in search of a vessel befitting their needs. It was on this island they encountered Usopp, a man known for his tall tales and surprisingly, connections to the legendary pirate, Shanks.
