This series was genuinely enjoyable to watch. The opening theme song always makes me want to move – it’s so upbeat and memorable! Although there are definitely funny parts, the program also addresses serious issues that people experience; topics like sexual identity, trauma, substance abuse, and alcohol use come up. Ultimately, One Day at a Time is a lighthearted comedy available on Netflix. Considering everything going on currently, some laughter would be welcome.
