Synopsis

Documentary which looks at the history of the English Stage Company and its base, the Royal Court Theatre in London. Past triumphs and failures are reviewed with the aid of Sir John Gielgud, John Osborne, Max Stafford-Clark, Arnold Wesker, Dennis Waterman, Oscar Lewenstein, Nigel Williams and E.A. Whitehead.
