Synopsis

Oliver, marked by a harsh and unhappy youth, is sold into the care of an undertaker. There, the cruelty he faces compels him to flee to London. The city's shadows offer him refuge, and he is drawn into the alluring world of pickpockets by the criminal elements. Soon enough, he finds himself entangled in a web of law and danger.
