Synopsis

Maggie Kring and Kai journey to the Carpathian Mountains, seeking answers about the enigmatic man who accompanied their father to the Oderbruch in 1947 – a deserter from the war. In Romania, however, they encounter an impenetrable silence. Roland Voit, despite his suspension from the investigation, follows Maggie’s trail.
