Synopsis

Summer in Poland, 1990. Ten-year-old Kai has been brought to the sanctuary of his mother Minna’s friends, a refuge from his father Arthur, who harbors a dark suspicion about the boy's nature. Arthur believes Kai possesses a troubling inclination, and desires to end his life. Maggie, Kai’s sister, fiercely defends him, shielding him from the wary glances of other children.
