I've watched the initial four episodes of the #ObiWanKenobiSeries on #DisneyPlus, and I want to state something fairly strong – the television shows are now better than the films. It seems like the movies often try to pack too much into them, which can be hard for people who aren’t die-hard fans to follow; understanding the characters, the jargon, and what's going on becomes a real hurdle. The TV series, though, do a good job of explaining things step by step, pulling viewers in with character growth and stories that are interesting and help you understand more about the Star Wars world. Shows like The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett have been really well done, letting audiences get to know both the important characters and those who play smaller roles. They’ve given me a better sense of Luke and Leia, which has helped me appreciate where they came from and why they do what they do. Basically, these Star Wars television series are adding depth to the existing stories and broadening the scope of the universe in ways that the movies don't always manage. This is an exciting time for people who love Star Wars!
