Synopsis

A robbery call brought Sipowicz and Sorenson to a scene of violence; the elderly shopkeepers had been brutally beaten, and the woman succumbed to her injuries. The incident visibly shook Sorenson. They pursued two young black men spotted fleeing the store. Elsewhere, Russell and Kirkendall were dispatched to a private club where a patron lay dead. A dancer there suggested a former employee might be responsible. Meanwhile, Sergeant Dorning confided his lingering reservations about an earlier case
