Synopsis

A woman had been brutally beaten and discovered inside a wooden crate. Simone and Sipowicz began tracing her family history. Elsewhere, Medavoy and Kirkendall pursued the individual responsible for shooting a Car Services employee. Russell received a call summoning him to the hospital, where a six-year-old boy was pronounced dead; his parents insisted the death had been accidental.
