Synopsis

Russell secures legal representation for her mother. Simone and Sipowicz are looking into the shooting of a prominent mobster’s son. Initial suspicion centers on the victim’s younger brother, though the father actively obstructs their inquiries. Elsewhere, Medavoy and Russell respond to a call concerning a woman shot in her own bed. Her son informs Russell that he received a message from his stepfather, a confession to the crime. However, the step-father's lawyer is proving obstructive.
