Synopsis

Simone faces the delicate task of persuading Joyce Novak, a key witness in a double-homicide investigation, to take the stand. Meanwhile, Sipowicz finds himself drawn into a case involving the murder of an elderly woman—the former owner of a candy store where he once held a job.
