Synopsis

Detectives Medavoy and Jones found themselves embroiled in two unsettling cases: the stifling death of an elderly gentleman, whose young and strikingly beautiful wife was barely past her twenties; and the insistent demand from a state judge that they uncover the source of poison which had claimed the life of his mother.
