Synopsis

Don and Charlie began to look into the shooting of a judge’s wife, found dead in her garage. It remained uncertain whether she had been the intended victim or if the attack was meant for her husband, who was presiding over a capital punishment case concerning a notorious gang leader. As their inquiries deepened, Don encountered a prosecutor with whom he'd once worked closely—a woman whose own safety now seemed precarious.
