Synopsis

A close friend of Thomas Edison, Henry Ford possessed a deep passion for cinema, accumulating an impressive collection of approximately one and a half million feet of film during his life. Now housed in the National Archives as the Ford Film Collection, this archive encompasses not only the history of the Ford family and the Ford Motor Company but also includes newsreels and other films produced under Ford’s patronage. The Collection has provided invaluable material for NOVA's portrayal of Ford’
