Synopsis

The quest to find the wreck of the Yamato, the largest and most formidable battleship ever built, and the jewel of the Japanese Imperial Fleet, had consumed years of searching. Secretly constructed, she met her end at the hands of American aircraft near the war's conclusion. Her swift sinking remained an enigma, a maritime tragedy akin to a military Titanic.
