Synopsis

For sixteen centuries, the Lighthouse of Alexandria served as a beacon for ships navigating the Mediterranean, a marvel recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Now, NOVA documents an international team of archaeologists, cartographers, surveyors, and divers as they meticulously catalog and map thousands of ancient artifacts previously hidden from view.
