Synopsis

The pharaohs, seeking eternal remembrance, frequently adorned the gateways of their grand temples with pairs of obelisks. These four-sided shafts of granite ascend gracefully, tapering gently until their sides converge at a pyramidal apex. A team of specialists from NOVA now endeavors to construct, transport, and erect a scaled replica of an obelisk, employing the materials known to ancient Egyptian engineers: rope, earth, timber, and stone.
