Synopsis

Over ninety minutes, NOVA unveils the long-held mysteries of pyramid construction by undertaking a practical experiment: building one. Renowned Egyptologist Mark Lehner collaborates with skilled stonemason Roger Hopkins in the shadow of the Great Pyramid of Giza, testing ingenious, and at times unconventional, theories about how these monumental structures were raised.
