Synopsis

Over ninety minutes, NOVA unveils the long-held mysteries of pyramid construction by undertaking a remarkable endeavor: building one. Renowned Egyptologist Mark Lehner and skilled stonemason Roger Hopkins (of *This Old House*) collaborate in the shadow of the Great Pyramid of Giza, rigorously testing ingenious, and at times unconventional, theories about how these monumental structures were raised.
