Synopsis

A winter storm raged, fueled by powerful onshore gales and an unusually high tide – conditions that created a perilous trap in the shallow waters of Cape Cod. NOVA chronicles this heartbreaking event and the fortunate turn of fate for the young whales who survived, ultimately recovering under the care of the New England Aquarium in Boston.
