Synopsis

The ranger at the fire tower inquires about Joel, finding him deeply upset over the loss of his job. He manages to steady Joel, though after fifteen years of solitude, he requires time to readjust. Adam foils Maurice's plans for a President's Day fireworks display; the crew tasked with the show is deliberately targeting him. While fishing with Chris, Ed is struck by lightning and afterward falls into a profound depression, wrestling with the inexplicable reason for the event.
