Synopsis

The death of his brother sharpens Maurice’s awareness of his own impermanence. He resolves to adopt Chris as the heir to the Minnifield legacy, though the title proves unwelcome to the younger man. Meanwhile, Shelly provides a welcome diversion for Holling during a trip to film a rare bear, accompanying him on the expedition. Joel finds himself increasingly annoyed as Maggie steps in to lead the childbirth class he had previously dismissed, and executes it with remarkable skill.
