Synopsis

Joel is consumed with the task of persuading two Japanese businessmen to invest in Alaska, envisioning it as a "new Riviera." His ambition extends beyond mere sales; he dreams of becoming their personal physician and enjoying the game of golf at their prospective resort. Separately, Holling proposed to Shelly upon learning of her pregnancy. Yet, as the wedding day approaches, a degree of hesitation settles upon him, casting a shadow over the ceremony he is about to undertake.
