At the beginning of the new semester, Kazuha is absent, and the girls find themselves seeking ways to occupy their time in class. Later, Hotaru and Renge attempt to recapture a rabbit that had escaped from its enclosure, only to find themselves unexpectedly locked inside. Rescue comes, eventually, in the form of Kazuha. Afterward, Renge visits the candy store owned by Kaede Kagayama, who finds her to be a spirited customer.
