Synopsis

Set apart from his companions, Jubei suffers a poisoned wound during his brutal clash with Nenmu, a ninja wielding the unsettling power to commandeer other people’s forms. Seeking shelter from a sudden downpour, he slowly begins to mend with the aid of a woman and her young son. Yet, given Nenmu's insidious ability to control anyone at will, how can one truly discern friend from foe? And might Jubei’s recent allies prove to be betrayers in disguise?
