Synopsis

The close-knit community of east Buffalo, New York, was shaken in 1994 when the body of Cynthia Epps, a beautician and single mother, was discovered hidden inside a cabinet in a neighbor’s backyard—a secluded spot beside a vacant lot passage. She had been brutally attacked, raped, stabbed, and nearly decapitated. For sixteen years, a cunning killer remained at large, but advances in technology combined with persistent detective work ultimately led to his arrest.
