Synopsis

In Victorian Boston, a young woman finds herself increasingly captivated by a reclusive artist whose work fixates on the macabre. A series of misfortunes befall a fraudulent spiritualist and his assistant, compounded by the assistant’s wife's infidelity, following a carriage accident. A brief sketch of proper conduct within the confines of an elevator.
