Synopsis

A stray ember from Dick’s evening cigar ignited the timbers of Maison Hubert, and the grand house was consumed by flames. In the aftermath, the Loudons offered Hubert refuge as he recovered from his injuries. Nursing a simmering resentment, Hubert made a solemn vow: he would one day seek retribution against Monsieur Loudon.
