Synopsis

The team revisited the 1992 case concerning actor Michael Austin, who was fatally shot by his wife on stage during the opening night of *Death at the Masked Ball*. Already operating with a reduced force after Halford’s disappearance, the investigation now threatens to claim another member as Lane develops an unexpected passion for acting and the world of theatre.
