Phoebe’s letter to Todd arrives at last, and Faye’s efforts to win Jim’s affection appear to have borne fruit; he spends the night at her apartment. Meanwhile, Caroline manages to outwit Marcus, while Phoebe witnesses Toby and Ben engaged in a rather compromising secret.
