Synopsis

At eight thirty in the morning, Harold and David stood ready for the wedding, dressed in their full finery. Jane, however, was still undressed. David, with a pointed glance, requested an introduction to her, remarking that she looked exceptionally lovely. Harold then turned to Mrs. Mangel, stating that while he had endured her comments in the past, today would be different. He loved Madge—desperately, passionately, and irrevocably—with every part of himself.
