She felt a sharp pang of hurt as Gary and Kyle finalized preparations for the opening of The Tram. Paul, however, discharged himself from the hospital with a simmering anger – a resentment directed at Karl’s continued employment of Gary. Meanwhile, Gary and Dipi had been caught reading through her journal, and they offered an explanation: they were simply looking out for Toadie. The matter was brought to a head when she confronted Gary and Dipi about their intrusion. They confessed their act
