Synopsis

A familiar face, weathered by time and circumstance, appeared at the door. A man named Walter, Sonya's long-lost uncle, had come seeking her. Toadie eyed him with suspicion, a knot of unease tightening in his stomach. He feared this visit threatened the fragile peace of Sonya’s life, especially with her return from a long conference looming.
