Synopsis

A sense of dismay settled over the group, a consequence of Ben and Xanthe's recent actions. Ben, in particular, was quick to protest, insisting he had been unaware of the drink’s potency, claiming Xanthe hadn't informed him of its alcoholic nature. Susan, however, was resolute. She decreed that while Ben remained in Erinsborough, he was to avoid both Xanthe and Piper, believing their company would prove too tempting, a dangerous distraction he couldn't afford.
