Synopsis

Exhaustion frayed Matt's temper, and he snapped at Lauren over the state of the dishes. She suggested he take the afternoon to rest, hoping to lift his spirits. But he couldn't; too much remained to be done at Harold’s. He informed her and Bailey that the bank had confirmed they wouldn't be reimbursed, and the Fraud Squad offered no hope of recovering the stolen funds. Wracked with guilt, Bailey withdrew his life savings.
