Synopsis

Paige watched the easy banter between Naomi and Brennan, a sense of urgency rising within her. She felt compelled to offer Naomi a quiet word, a gentle caution about Brennan's intentions. He wasn't seeking a serious connection, she explained. Naomi, however, pressed him on the matter. And as he confessed he wasn't ready for a relationship – just as Paige had suspected – a surprising lightness seemed to settle over Naomi.
