Synopsis

Josh found himself adrift, the mundane tasks of community service a poor substitute for connection. He suspected, though he dared not voice it, that the sentence was merely a pretext for seeing Amber. Paige cautioned him to respect her need for solitude, but Josh’s longing was evident. While cleaning, he unearthed some film and conceived a plan to win her favor: he suggested she develop it. Amber regarded his offer with suspicion, yet accepted the unexpected gift.
