Synopsis

Sonya determined to draw Brennan from his despondency. The initial efforts were arduous; he remained unable to bear the task of sorting through Kate’s belongings. Yet, she succeeded in bringing a smile to his face for the first time in weeks, and with Nell’s quiet support, even coaxed him to speak of his sorrow at losing Kate.
