Synopsis

Stepping from the shower, Brennan found the door splintered and forced open. Montague stood there, a crowbar still clutched in his hand. A grim satisfaction settled over Brennan; his carefully laid plan had succeeded. He agreed to Montague’s demand that he call Danni, but with a subtle deception. Concealing his phone in his pocket, he activated the recording function. He would secure a confession from Montague, a truth about Kate's death.
