Synopsis

Paul's grief remains a persistent shadow over the planned celebration for Kate. Distressed, Susan confides in Karl, who suggests a location outside Paul's influence. She settles on the school itself as the venue. As the children begin organizing the event, a poignant realization dawns upon them: the absence of Kate will cast an unusual pall over their preparations.
