Synopsis

The news that he had to repeat Year Eleven met with Joshua's fierce resistance. He refused to set foot in the school again unless Terese could persuade Susan to allow him entry into Year Twelve. Yet, despite Terese’s earnest pleas, Susan remained unyielding. It seemed Joshua was destined to abandon his studies altogether, until Amber delivered a sharp, uncompromising speech – urging him to return to his work or find employment.
